폐기물[Waste]

정의
쓰레기, 연소재, 더러운 흙(오니), 폐유, 폐산, 폐알칼리, 동물의 사체 등으로서 사람의 생활이나 사업활동에 필요하지 않게 된 물질을 말한다.

Waste means any substance or object which the holder disposes of or is required to dispose of pursuant to the provisions of national law in force.

Disposal of waste means:

the collection, sorting, transport and treatment of waste as well as its storage and tipping above or under ground; the transformation operations necessary for its re-use, recovery or recycling.
