- Transferred the supplementary survey on causes of deaths (the former Infant and Maternal
Mortality Survey) from the Ministry of Health and Welfare to the Statistics Korea in 2011
- Created 89 items for the three parts of the Infant and Maternal Mortality Survey on April 30, 2012
- Started to apply the 6th Korean Standard Classification of Diseases to the statistics in 2011
- Started to apply the 7th Korean Standard Classification of Diseases to the statistics in 2016
