National Statistics Committee
National Statistics Committee (NSC) is established under the Minister of Strategy and Finance pursuant to the Article 5 Item 2 of the Statistics Act and Rules on National Statistics Committee to review and deliberate on the following matters pertaining to the production, dissemination and use of statistics:
- Matters related to the mid-to-long term policy objectives and implementation strategies for national statistical development
- Matters related to establishing and amending the basic plan and implementation plan for development of official statistics
- Matters related to coordination and streamlining of similar and overlapping statistics and cooperation among statistical producers
- Matters related to assessment, improvement and management of statistical quality
- Matters related to the standards for production, dissemination and use of statistics including standard statistical classifications
- Matters related to the use of administrative data
- Matters related to the use of statistical information systems among statistical agencies
- Other matters related to the production, dissemination and use of statistics

In order to review and deliberate on subject-specific matters, National Statistics Committee has established and operates sub-committees (i.e. economy, society and statistical policies) in accordance with the Rules on National Statistics Committee.

Regional Statistics Sub-committee | Matters related to the development plans of regional statistics, the development & improvement of regional statistics, the standardization and coordination of regional statistics, and the dissemination of regional statistics |
