Purpose
- To produce and disseminate basic data on detailed employment situations of 'Si' and 'Gun' needed for making regional employment policies
- To produce and provide analytic data on the employment structure by 'Si' and 'Do' and detailed data on industries and occupations

Target Population
- Members of sample households who are staying in the households during the survey reference period and who are 15 years old or older (in full)

- Target population size: Approx. 234 thousand households
Survey Reference Period and Date
- Data collection period: (in general) two weeks following the week of reference period
- Reference period: One week (seven days, Sun. ~ Sat.) of every month which includes the 15th of the month

- Carried out the survey 21 times between Oct. 2008 ('Si', 'Gun' & 'Gu' Employment Statistics Survey) and the first half of 2017 (Local Area Labor Force Survey)
