Purpose
- To conduct longitudinal analyses on the determinants of marriage and childbirth decisions, as well as on transition and retention rates, according to the economic and social characteristics of individuals within a specific population group.

Survey Unit and Target Population Size
- Korean nationals born between 1983 and 1995 whose births were registered in Korea.
Individuals without a resident registration number, those born overseas, naturalized citizens, foreigners, and deceased persons are excluded.

- September 2024: Established the basic framework for developing the Population Dynamics Panel Statistics
- March 2025: Developed the plan for the Population Dynamics Panel Statistics
- July 2025: Approved as national statistics (Approval No. 101094)
- December 16, 2025: Released the results of the Population Dynamics Panel Statistics for 2015–2023
